At the heart of Portugal’s textile tradition, in Guimarães, our family-run atelier shapes every piece by hand. We oversee every step, from selecting yarn to dyeing, cutting, sewing, and prewashing. Generations of skill create garments that blend heritage and innovation.

Handcrafted in Portugal
The essence of what we do. Design starts in our studio in Spain. All our fabrics are developed in-house using selected partners. Each garment is handmade by artisans who carefully shape, refine, and craft. We prototype, test, and adjust until every cut and stitch feels right. Small batches. No shortcuts. Everything is considered.

We don’t start with a design. We start with a thread. From our combed cotton yarns to the zippers we select, every input is chosen for feel, performance, and longevity. Over twelve months, we tested and refined until we developed four proprietary blends. Each fabric was built from the fiber up to meet our standards of softness, structure, and lasting wear.
At LUMMA®, softness is our foundation. We use combed cotton for its strength, smoothness, and ability to hold shape over time. The fibers are treated to remove rough strands and align only the finest ones. The result is a fabric that feels softer, lasts longer, and keeps its structure even after dozens of washes.
